Gavin’s own experiences with healing his body lead him on the path to yoga and various types of bodywork. Gavin uses a combination of modalities to bring healing and calm to his clients.
In addition to his work with massage and CranioSacral therapy, Gavin teaches yoga at several studios in our community. His knowledge of movement and body mechanics is evident in his treatment approach. We are so grateful to have Gavin at our office.
Sonya Wool is a graduate from the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine in Portland, OR, where she earned her Master’s Degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. While her formal Chinese Medicine training lasted four years, she grew up in a family of physicians, and as a result, her experience really began in childhood. It is this lifelong passion for medicine that eventually led Sonya to pursue a career in the field. After experiencing a particularly turbulent time in her life, she found realignment and strength through Acupuncture and Chinese herbs. These experiences and firsthand knowledge of Chinese medicine eventually led her to focus on integrated care.
One of Sonya’s primary objectives is to alter people’s mindsets when they are not thriving. The feeling of defeat following an illness or an injury can be a particularly powerful one. She firmly believes that the key to healing is to find a balance that best suits each patient’s individual needs and capabilities. Her goal as a practitioner is to empower every patient to harness their own healing force. Sonya will help patients find the root cause of their symptoms and give them the tools they need to finish their journey back to a healthy body and mind. Ultimately, Sonya believes that reconnecting each person with their body will enable each person to be their own best advocate. She hopes to highlight the powers of integrated health care with acupuncture, herbs, nutritional counseling, and consistency.
Sonya enjoys running, baking, and working in her garden when she is not working. She has two dogs, chickens, ducks, and a husband that keeps her plenty busy.
